Morgan, San Antonio

Over the past year, Morgan has shown incredible growth, consistency, and heart. She comes to work with a positive attitude, listens, puts in the work, and comes back better every time! She’s a hell of a dancer and a natural entertainer, and it shows in the constant reviews online and in guests who come up to the managers personally to talk about how much they love her.

Beyond the bar, Morgan is a super mom who shows up 100 percent every shift to make it happen for her two kids, and that work ethic shines through in everything she does. This month she’s also leveling up as a traveling Coyote and heading to New Orleans for the first time. One year in, she’s growing fast, and representing us on the road. We’re incredibly proud to have her as a part Coyote Ugly Saloon San Antonio!

What’s the most fun part about your job at Coyote Ugly?
I get to be a rockstar while having a blast every night!! I get to dance, be silly, enjoy people’s company, and shotgun Red Bulls all while making money! This is quite literally my favorite job I’ve ever had!

What makes you a good Coyote?
I believe that I’m a good Coyote, because I strive for greatness. I want every shift to exceed that of the previous one. I always show up wanting to be better, whether it’s dancing, sales, interactions with customers, or singing my heart out. I give 1000% of my heart and soul every shift. I love this job, it’s not just a part of me but me being a part of San Antonio. Some of the girls say I was made in a Coyote laboratory! They call me Captain Morgan, because I’m spicy and fun, but most importantly I show up and show out for us. I love helping the girls, we’re a family. I want everyone we work with to also be better every shift. I’m always willing to help out, if it’s a new trick, dance move, recipe or just advice I keep an open mind and give the ladies my honest opinions and feedback.

How long have you been a bartender?
Just over five years, half a decade and loving it more and more every year!

What do like to do on your off time?
As a mama of two, I’m constantly trying to maintain the balance of parent and friend with my littles. We love to play board games, practice soccer, have dance parties, find new places to explore, and go shopping. I’m also an avid reader, when there’s downtime you can find a book in my hand.

What is your favorite type of music?
I LOOOVE 80s/ 90s country, Nickelback, Santana, and old school rock (in that order).

Do you think the movie is anything like the real thing?
The movie is a great representation of Coyote. Living out the experience nightly feels like a dream come true! The bond you solidify over time with the staff feels like family, the customers look up to you and cheer you on endlessly, busy nights build confidence and skill, and even on a slower night you can have the so much fun without ever having to try.

Why should a potential customer come and visit you?
I’m very passionate, I love to ensure every customer has a good time. I enjoy playing games, getting ladies out of their comfort zones to dance up on the bar with us, smack talking back and forth with the rowdy men, and making sure all the Coyotes have a good time alongside one another. And of course, I have a great personality (Kuzco Voice). My smile is contagious, you can’t come in on one of my shifts and leave upset; we make sure you leave happier than you showed up! It’s not just me, it’s San Antonio and we show you a good time, every time!!

Do you have any advice for women that want to be a Coyote?
Any woman can be a Coyote. All you have to do is want it and show out. We all have different skills that strengthen our family, expanding that only makes us more great; you will always be welcomed with open arms. Don’t let fear keep your inner Coyote chained up, do the damn thing!! Allow yourself to take that leap of faith, hop up on the bar, and let yourself shine!!!
