Marissa, NYC - Coyote of the Month - Dec 2025

Marissa has been with us for about nine months and has already blossomed into an awesome Coyote! She’s hard working and achieves any goal we give her. She’s sweet as sugar but is a firecracker behind the bar! Stop by the bar to see her do our famous slip and slides!!

Hometown: Vernon Hills, Illinois

What’s the must fun about your job at Coyote Ugly?
My favorite thing about working at Coyote Ugly is getting to be who I am and express myself in every way.

What makes you a good Coyote?
I am quick and fierce behind the bar but still sweet as sugar and will keep you smiling!

How long have you been a bartender?
I have been bartending on and off for 5 years. I have bartended at restaurants and a few music festivals over the years.

What do like to do on your off time?
In my off time, I like to hang out with my friends, come up with cool tattoo designs, and love playing video games.

What is your favorite type of music?
Music is therapy to my soul. Whenever I hear the artists Labrinth, NF, or Kevin Gates I feel like I can breathe and relax.

Do you think the movie is anything like the real thing?
When I think of the bar and the movie, the similarities I see come from the energy and the sass! The girls want to keep the party going just like we do every night! The way they interact and wanna keep you in your seat is what being a Coyote is all about! The movie makes you want to go out and be you and have fun just like at the bar!

Why should a potential customer come and visit you?
When you come see me, you’ll be greeted with sweetness, served with excellence, and left with a pain in your side from laughing so hard. If you’re lucky enough, you’ll see me slide down the bar and do a slip n’ slide right to you!

Do you have any advice for women that want to be a Coyote?
Something I would tell someone looking to be a Coyote would be DO IT! I have really bad social anxiety and worked from home for a long time. I wanted to work on myself and be out in the world more. I figured, what best way to put yourself out there than being a Coyote? I can honestly say it’s one of the BEST things I have ever done. It’s made me more confident as a person, I enjoy interacting with new people every time I work and hearing stories. If I didn’t become a Coyote, I would still be sitting at home on the weekends not knowing what to do next. Being a Coyote is the best thing I could ever be.
