Kat, Denver

Kat has been a part of the Denver family for the past two years. Through a lot of hard work, she has become a great Coyote and leader. She is our top seller of Gran Patron Platinum and rarely makes it through a shift with out selling a shot. She captivates everyone’s attention when she’s on the bar. We here at Denver love her, and when you come in you’ll be stuck here because you’ll love her too!

Hometown: I was born in Managua, Nicaragua, in Central America. I came to the States when I was 2 and grew up in Daly City, California, which is right next to San Francisco.

What’s the most fun about your job at Coyote Ugly?
The fun part about my job is being able to meet people from all over the world! I have met great people, and I am glad to say many of them have become great friends of mine. Also, the people I work with I consider my family, and I am honored to work with such a talented group of women.

How long have you been a bartender?
I have been bartending for about seven years.

What do you like to do on your off time?
I don’t get time off very often with my two jobs, school, and a three year old. But when I do have time off, I am usually spending time with my daughter and loved ones. I am very family orientated.

What is your favorite type of music?
My favorite type of music is underground rap and a lot of ’90s music.

Do you think the movie is anything like the real thing?
I think the real thing influenced a lot of the movie when it was made, so yeah I do feel it is like the real thing. People always ask if we dance on the bar, and I always tell them, “Of course we do!!!!”

Why should a potential customer come and visit you?
People should come visit me if they want the Coyote Ugly experience and, although I can’t dance, they will get a good laugh when I make fun of myself.

Do you have any advice for women who want to be a Coyote?
The advice I can give any woman who wants to be a Coyote is to be themselves. I think as woman we have to be strong, confident in ourselves, and not care what other people may think.
