What’s the most fun about your job at Coyote Ugly?

I love the girls I work with. We’re just a big ol’ family of pretty girls and we get to tease boys and do fun dances!

What makes you a good Coyote?

I have A LOT of energy!

How long have you been a bartender?

Four years in January

What is your favorite Coyote story?

I worked on Thanksgiving one year, and I was pretty homesick. Suddenly, one by one, my favorite customers started coming into the bar. They’d finished with their own plans and come to visit me. So many people had gone out of their way to put together a plate for me. I think I had about four full dinners that night, and I can’t even tell you how many desserts (thank you John for the chocolate mousse)!! I was so moved at the generosity and thoughtfulness of everyone, and I realized that even though I couldn’t be with my family I still have another community I love here.

What do you like to do on your off time?

I have a dog named Sweetie that everyone knows is the love of my life. I can usually be found with Maria (see first Coyote of the Month…like you all don’t know who Maria is) and her dog Annabelle. We love each other! There is always something to do in NYC, I love this city!!

What is your favorite type of music?

I hate this question. I was that little girl who took turns playing with all my toys so they didn’t feel left out. I really like all different kinds of music from George Strait to George Clinton. But I have to make some noise for the man, the legend, Mr. David Bowie!

What do you look for in a guy?

I just like big noses.

Do you think the movie is anything like the real thing?

I used to live with Maria, and she had the movie. I mostly fastforwarded to see what they were wearing and how they were dancing. I will say that people often mistake me for Tyra Banks. Often.

Why should a potential customer come and visit you?

I’m super fun!

Do you have any advice for women who want to be a Coyote?

I think what makes a good Coyote is a strong sense of self. So many girls come in trying to be some idea of a Coyote and they can come off as having an attitude. On the other hand, girls also come in who are too shy to have as much fun as they really want to have. Find out what you love about yourself and show it. Other people will love it too.
