What’s the most fun about your job at Coyote Ugly?

The absolute best part about my job is working with such a fun bunch of ladies!! I love my coworkers, they are some of my greatest friends and mentors. Each night at the bar is a guaranteed great time and I can be myself and be loved for it. Sometimes I can’t believe that I actually get paid to do what I do! Shout out to CUS Austin!!

What makes you a good Coyote?

I believe my ability to always have a positive attitude behind the bar and make customers laugh are my strongest assets as a Coyote. I love being on the bar dancing and performing. My past as a cheerleader definitely shows on and behind the bar!!

How long have you been a bartender?

Coyote is my first job as a bartender. I had my fair share of training…it wasn’t pretty!

What do you like to do on your off time?

Outside of the bar I’m a very laid back person. I normally hit up live shows in and around Austin, go float the river, and try to get a good run in as often as possible. My favorite thing to do on a night off is to just hang out at home and have a movie night.

What is your favorite type of music?

I’m a Texas gal, through and through, so I love Texas Country and Americana local artists such as Reckless Kelly, Band of Heathens, and Stoney LaRue. I definitley have a rocker side too though, that would be the Coyote in me I guess!

Do you think the movie is anything like the real thing?

The movie shows how Coyote can make you a stronger and more confident person, but there is so much more entailed with the experience that the movie doesn’t show. There is a lot of hard work and dedication that each of us Coyotes puts into this job. Each of us spend a lot of time and effort to perfecting our performance on the job, it doesn’t come overnight.

Why should a potential customer come and visit you?

Why not!? I’ll show you a good time, make you laugh, and make you want to come back over and over!

Do you have any advice for women who want to be a Coyote?

Be ready!!! Coyote Ugly is one the best jobs because you get to have fun everyday but it doesn’t come without hard work. Any lady interested in becoming a Coyote needs to be ready and dedicated to learning the dances, being a good bartender, and most importantly have a strong work ethic. Coyote Ugly is a team, we work together and for each other.
